My son and I have a tradition of reading this together every year, then we watch a few different versions in movie form. It never gets old.

The Same Deep Water As You 
This is one of our favorites, too. Which movie version is your favorite? Mine is The Muppet Christmas Carol.
I like the 1984 George C Scott version, though I also have the 1938 and Patrick Stewart versions. I also like the Dr Who Christmas Special that does its own version of A Christmas Carol, and I like Scrooged as well. I still need to see the 1951 Alastair Sim version. And I don’t recall having ever watched the Muppet version. Perhaps I need to add it to the list as well.
